Shirley's Story...

my heart is broken. i have a daughter that has a 13 year history of rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. it has been a very stormy course. 2 sessions on life support, 2 hip replacements, 1 knee replacement, 1 ankle fixation, 2 rounds of cytoxin and 13 YEARS of steroids - high pulses and daily dosing (am and pm). she is so cushnoid and has every prednisone side effect.

is there truth to the rumor that dosing below 10 mg has virtually no sideeffects. what about alternate day dosing. how long does it take to go down in dosing and what symptoms disappear.

she is only 29 right now. this all started at 17. help me??
