And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
I am 41 year old female, and have never posted to a message board like this.
I have been on steroids for asthma for over 4 years, and have all the symptoms of cushing's except diabetes and erectile dysfunction. We're currently waiting on bloodwork for the diabetes. Although symptoms developed slowly, I knew I was in trouble when I fell 3 times in an airport due to weakness in my legs and arms. A month later I couldn't work and was put on disability.
It's funny. Despite the hump on my neck, the moon face, the stretch marks the weakness, etc. my doctors hesitate or refuse to use the "c" word.
