I had taken a day off to attend to personal work in August this year. Wanted to get a pair of spectacles and so visted the optometrist.
There was a drastic difference in refraction in the right eye.I also had a mild throbbing feeling in my head above the left ear. I had had a heavy fall on the right side of head some time back.
Hence I went for a CT scan which showed a pituitary tumor. After MRI, Neuro, endo and opthalmic evaluation by specialists, endoscopic surgery by nasal route was done on 01/09/2004.
Joined back for duty from 20/09 and recovered from surgery successfully.
