And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
Hi. I am 26 and have cushings disease. I had surgery to remove a pituitary tumor but it was unsucessful. I am having radiation (gamma knife) this week.
I dont really feel any better than I did before surgery. I t has been very disappointing and hard. I still have high blood pressure, alot of muscle pain, i walk funny becuase my hips are so weak with arthritis and osteoporosis and i am depressed. I have moon face also, acne and weight gain in my belly.
Anyone have any words of advice or hope? I am on Ketoconozole to lower my cortisol, but I dont think it is working. I hope this board and support system and give me some hope for feeling better.
