And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
I was diagnosed with Cushings in 1997, had 1/2 my pituitary removed, lost most of the weight I gained then 2 years later had a reoccurance and had the rest of my pituitary removed and had radiation. Developed hypothyroidism post-seconday to Cushings and have not been able to lose the weight. I have gone in and out of menopause and on and off hormones have seen many docs for help. Finally, I have found a doc that took me off Synthroid and put me on Armour Thyroid and bioidentical hormones to balance me.
I still struggle with this weight and can not take it off. I am going to begin working with a nutritionist and pick up my exercize and hope that works.
