And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
I was diagnosed at age 13 with RA.
After trying many different drug therapys, my doctor prescribed prednisone for my condition 14 years ago. I have been on 15 mg. each day since. I began to gain a significant amount of weight and anxiety about 4 years ago.
About one month ago my new doctor diagnosed me with Cushing's Syndrome. I am currently weaning off of the drug. Each day is a different battle. The doctor said that it could take at least 6 months to get me completely off of the prednisone.
