I was diagnosed with Cushing Snydrome and had my adrenal gland removed.4/30/07. I am now tapering off prednisone and will do ACTH suppresion/cortisol test next week. I knew that a had adrenal gland tumor since 1999, but was told to disregard it.
I have MS so all my symptoms were blamed on that disease. There is a lot more of medical moments - I have been a tenacious patient advocate and I just glad I had the 48 hour urine test that revealed the high cortisol number that proved that something was wrong and could be fixed. So I did, but now....
