And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
I am 55 and I was diagnosed with cushings in 1986 had the piturity tumor removed 2 weeks later. I thought that now I would be well but it didn't happen.
I am now the best and happiest I've been for years I put this down to treatment of depression which I now know I had since I was young. I'm not sure wether the depression trigered the tumor but I did have a very stressful life and I am sure that has been a factor in having cushings when I got diagnosed I so wanted to find out more but at that time nothing was available this really added to my distress so glad to find this sight.
I do have many health problems but have tailered my life to accomadate these and am very glad that I have been able to go on a disability pension I would not have been able to cope if I hadn't I have 3 children and 5 grandchildren and so enjoy being around them and very glad for their support life is looking better for me now!!
