And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
Hi, I had a adrenal tumor removed two weeks ago (early March, 2004). Currently on 60 mcgs of cortef.
I've had Cushing's for at least 6 years. It has been over the last two years it's effected my gastro, breathing and weight has finally become so difficult to control. I actually lost 70 pounds and featured on weight loss ads. but even then i had the puff face and fat belly. I worked out every day and never ate sweets - now it doesn't seem to matter.
I can't believe how after surgery I am so much worse. Unless you have this you can't imagine the pain.

We'll it's been three months since surgery. I look much more normal, I am on 10 msg but had to raise last week due to a cold,
I take ultracets so I can move. If I don't I can't move. The good news is my nails are growing, no more puff face. I've lost 12 pound about 10 to go.
The three symptoms of adrenal are fatigue, exhaustion,weakness.
My spirits are good. I hate the pain and having to always come home and lye down. I look forward to one day feeling great physically.
