And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
I don't have a diagnosis for myself but my 7 year old son has been diagnosed with Cushing Syndrome. He is going in for surgery on June 1, 2008 and they say that after he has the surgery within 8 weeks he will be back down to his original weight.
We are all so scared because they are going up through the nose to get a dime sized tumor off of his Pituitary Gland. I had no clue what this condition was until my son was diagnosed with it. I know that it is very rare for a child to be diagnosed with this.
I am very happy and proud of everyone that has been diagnosed and are continuing the fight against it.
