And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
I am 26yo and just frustrated over the many tests and the unknows.
I was diagnosed with a 3mm Pituitary tumor less than a month ago after trying to get answers regarding fertility problems. I had the MRI in May '07 and my doctor recommended Bomocriptine right away thinking it was a Prolactin issue due to my intial labs revealed and elevated Prolactin level and low FSH.
After further testing he has now ruled out that. I have stopped the meds and now will have my cortisol levels tested to Cushings. From what I have read I have a few of the symptoms.
My most concerning is unexplined weight gain. I have packed on 20+ pounds in the past few months. Like any one elese I want answers so that I know how to proceed...
