And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
Hi All! I have recently began to suspect that maybe some changes in my body aren't 'normal'. I have inquired into them, but with no avail. My doctor isn't that great, and I am currently looking into changing soon.
About 2 years ago, I, very suddenly I must say, started to get major acne on my face, chest, back and arms, and also started getting thick course hair growing on my chest. This was very shocking, because as I say it really wasn't gradual. I had never suffered from acne, and definetely not unusual hair growth! I chalked it up to taking anti-depressants I had started, and just talked to my doctor about possibly switching.
The symptoms never went away, and now, after reading various sites the last few days, I am more and more convinced something is wrong with me. So, to make a short story long :) I am here because I am curious to read other peoples stories, and maybe get some advice etc...I know I need to get professionally diagnosed, that is not what I am looking for. I just would like some support.
It seems between my weight gain, hair growth, acne, and all the other symptoms, I am spiraling down hill. I just do NOT feel feminine anymore, at all. So, that's about it. That's me in a nutshell!
