And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!

I have had asthma since I was 6 months old. I have been on steroids to keep it under control since I was 2 years old. I am now 39 years old.
I grew up with most of the Cushing's side effects. I have a round face, buffalo hump etc... I am currently using NEW a new asthma inhaler that has allowed me to slowly drop my prednisone dosage. I was actually off the prednisone. for about 2 weeks but had to go back on due to adrenal problems. I am also seeing an endocrinologist who is working with me to drop the prednisone even slower this time.
I have always wanted to talk to people that are going through the same issues I am. Nobody seems to understand what it feels like to be happy one minute and depressed and in bed the next. I have a very understanding family and they respect me, but you still need someone to talk to sometimes. Anyway that is my story. Right now I am pretty sick with Pneumonia and I am on very high doses of steroid and under strict doctor's care. I hope to drop some of this very soon.
