And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
I had Cushing's disease for 6 years before diagnosis. I had a pituitary tumor removed in May 1995 and felt wonderful within a few months. I lost all the gained weight (about 90 lbs).
Unfortunately, I had a re-occurance of Cushing's in 1999, and in October 2000 had most of my pituitary gland removed. Tumor cells had spread to the cavernous sinus and I still had Cushing's after the surgery. In February and March of 2001 I had radiation therapy. I am now on many medications as my pituitary gland is "dead".
