Six of our members have gotten into NIH this
year for
evaluation and treatment.
The website has grown so big that we had to
move to another server - again.
Cushing's was on
CBS NEWS February 27, 2002! Featuring an interview with Dr. Ted Friedman
(endo), Dr. Shahinian
(surgeon)and Camille K, a message board member, who had endonasal
pituitary surgery February 18, 2002.
Lorrie, Sue and Amanda
were featured in local media events.
The book is still in the works. Sue started it and she
now has some editors to write chapters and help edit.
Regular meetings are held in the Northwest US,
Boston, Toledo, OH and Washington, DC areas. Plans for other areas are in the
works. Many are making plans for the next
Pituitary
Conference at UVa, September 13-14, 2002. Enough
people will attend that we will be able to have our own
CUSH conference room!
