And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
I am a single mom watching my 15 year old daughter slowly deteriorate from Cushing-like symptoms that started when she was between 10 and 11.
We moved from Idaho to California for medical help and are currently seeing Dr. Friedman at Cedar Sinai in LA. My daughter has gone through 2 years of testing. Two MRI's show a pituitary tumor but all salivary, urine and blood tests are inconclusive.
I am in agony watching her get worse and not being able to do anything to help her. She has gone from 115 to 180 pounds in 18 months. I am at a loss but she has an appt. in Sept with Dr. Friedman again and we continue to pray for relief.
