Marge's Story...

the jury is still out as to whether I'm a MEN2 or not. Frankly I'm not that concerned.

My journey started(1982) when I was 7 mos pregnant with my Son. I developed diabetes. I was able to control it with diet. Then I infarcted(heart stopped) on the delivery table. My docs at that time recommended I not have any more kids-I didn't. After deliver I was able to lose most of the weight but gained it all back after 10 years of yo-yo symptoms.

Then the constant visits to the docs and getting told there was nothing wrong with me that push ups from the table would not fix.

In 2004 I had a huge lipoma removed from the back of my neck-yes that's what they called it, was to be out patient but they had trouble normalizing my blood pressure.

Then at followup they found several lumps in my thyroid, polyps in my large intestine and the pain at the base of my skull had me on Vioxx. The center they sent me to for my MRI insisted there was no tumor-even my son could see-I insisted on my films because I had gotten tired of current group and was looking for real docs-I actually had a doctor tell me all my tests were normal, just my magnesium was low and so was my Vit D. (The lab that did the 24hr UFC remarked about the high level of Cortisol) and the fact that my TSH was high even though my ft3 & ft4 were high.

Found a wonderful doc who's patient and working with me to sort out everything. Will keep you posted ...
