And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
Where do I begin.....I guess most of these stories start long ago with many detours in the road. In the ancient scrolls, I was diagnosed with severe scoliosis as a teenager and never made it to 5 ft. tall (except on my driver's license:) Hyperprolactinemia in my early twenties when my periods stopped. Weight gain, fatigue, headaches, "all your numbers are off", MRI, Pituitary tumor.
Sinus surgery, headaches, neck and shoulder pain/stiffness, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyroid disfunction, BMR of less than 500, anti-depressants and glucose/insulin problems. Pharmacy bills are going thru the roof, but no real change and no diagnosis. Sleeping pills to sleep and calm restless leg syndrome. Tried a CPAP machine to help sleep but felt like a martian. Still seeing Doctors and still looking for answers.
Just diagnosed with dangerously high cholesterol today. #369.
What's going on???
