Karen's Story...

I actually don't have a diagnosis of Cushing's, but I just need some info and didn't know where else to post.

I am a 34 year old woman who has been healthy all my life till the fall of 2005.

Does anyone know of something that can cause what appears to be a buffalo hump, but that also causes severe itching all over, night sweats, itchy sores on face and neck that won't heal, and never go away, weight loss without ability to gain any back, fatigue, upper right and left quadrant abdominal pain, feeling of fullness in abdomen, blood counts (hemaglobin) going from 11.5 to 9.5 in 2 months, painless enlarged nodes (more that 30 all over) located in front and sides of neck, back of neck, along shoulders, under arms, in groin and above elbows, for more than 1 1/2 years, neurological symptoms(hands and feet tingling and numb, problems with speech, clumsiness, problems with peripheral vision), deep sleeping, with headache and grogginess upon awakening, bone pain, severe constipation for 1 year, unexplained lower back pain, with unexplained narrowing of L-5 and S-1 disk space, severe pain in head, located above the 'buffalo hump', that shoots up through the back of the head, causing blurred vision.

There are 2 quite enlarged nodes on either side of this 'hump'.

If someone has heard of something that could cause this, I would really appreciate your reply.

When trying to do research, I get sent back to Cushing's, because of the presence of this hump i have. My doctors are at a loss.

I have been tested for HIV, Hepatitis(all forms), had a Pet done which showed uptake in thymus and area of cervix, bone marrow biopsy(negative but showed low volume of bone marrow), groin node removed and biopsied(came back benign but reactive).

I am not looking for someone to diagnose me, but am searching for some kind of direction to look in.There must be something out there that causes all this. After more than a year and a half, it's getting pretty old.

Thanks for all your help.
