And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
I just learned my mother has Cushing's Disease. I had never even heard of it until a couple of days ago.
Sadly, she has also just been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. She is mostly unresponsive, just staring off into space.
I have just begun reading about the disease and am very curious what is the longest amount of time anyone knows of that it has gone undetected. She has complained of many of the symptoms for years. ...She just finished a round of chemo for the cancer and I sure wish I knew if there is any realistic chance of her becoming more lucid. She just turned 61 last month.
I know this type of cancer is not cureable, but seeing her just staring off into space, not eating or driking is painful. ...I think I will need to move back to New Orleans to be near her for this journey.
