Judy Baldwin Vincent Bryson of the Jeffrey Katz Bone Marrow Transplant Fund for Children The Jeffrey Katz Fund helps the families of children with Leukemia pay for bone marrow transplants and related costs. The procedure can cost up to $150,000 and very often is not covered by insurance. It is often the child's only chance at survival. There are no paid employees, and 98% of the money raised goes to the children and their families. The charity has been recognized for its work with grants from the State of California and is associated with the Ronald McDonald House of Los Angeles.
