Dr. Baker did her endocrinology fellowship at
Mayo Clinic in Rochester. My problem is iotragenic Cushing's, with Adrenal
insufficiency, and after a long exasperating year of numerous physician's
and various area endocrinologists, I have found Dr. Baker to be incredibly
compassionate, a great listener, one who takes the individual patient
history into complete account, overlooks nothing, and runs the appropriate
tests, and is completely thorough. She definitely does not have a
"my-way-or-no-way" attitude. Her knowledge is straight with the research. A
breath of fresh air after a long arduous search! Dr. Baker has been most
knowledgeable. |

This
physician has done two surgeries on me and he was fabulous. High quality
doesn't even describe him. A one-in-a-million find. Hand/eye coordination at
it's best. This man is busy beyond belief, but returns ALL his own phone
calls, is prompt with refills, signatures, and any paperwork you may need.
I'm not certain if he's really human or an angel mascarading as a physician.

A wonderful
man. Kind, compassionate, and very smart. Has both a M.D. and a Ph.D. My
immune system is very suppressed and this physician is the only one who has
been able to keep me well and out of the hospital. He demands to be involved
with my other specialists, and reviews all my illnesses, not just the one's
he's treating. He definitely wants to be in control and looks at the whole
clinical picture and leaves nothing out. Don't let the "control" scare you,
he's in control in a good way...a very good way. He knows what he's doing.
Also, Dr. Segura has been through the long haul with me when another
specialist I had really dropped the ball. He was there to help me pick up
the pieces, and even called me at home one time and talked with me for an
hour just to console me and make sure I was ok! This one's a keeper! |
