And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
I have Cushings Disease have had two surgeries to remove the tumor with no success. I have been having a monthly injection of Sandsostatan. I have good days and bad. The real reason for writing this is to maybe make someone smile with this story.
My dog who is 8 years old and is the best dog has been diagnosed with Cushings. What are the odds of that? She is in the beginning stages of being treated and its a wait and see. But I thought this might make someone laugh at hearing of this. I am hanging in there its been a very hard year but I have great doctors in Boston who have been excellent with me. I have a feeling I will always be like I am now but I can live with this. Just taking one day at a time and enjoying the good days and dealing with the bad ones. There are others who are worse than me and I am thankful for what I have in life.
