Sandy (KindredSpirit) is from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She had health issues for several years and a friend asked if she had been tested for Cushing's. She hadn't heard of it but after reading the symptoms online, she sought out testing.

Melissa is from Sheridan, Indiana. She had pituitary surgery July 18, 2007 but doesn't have a cure. Possible ectopic Cushing's has been suggested. The surgeon does not want to do radiation or removal due to her age..

Kim H is from Grays, UK. She had ectopic Cushing's but nearly 16 years later the ectopic source had never been found despite many more tests. It was still there because it still produced ACTH. Update: The ectopic source was in Kim's appendix. After testing, it was found to be a carcinoid tumour.

Emily is from Grover Beach, CA Her tests are running high but her endo said it appears she has Cushing's on paper, but not by looking at her. Therefore his conclusion is she don't have it, and nothing can be done at this time.

Miranda (Miranda34) is from France. She was recently diagnosed with Cushing's syndrome due to the medicine she takes for asthma. Last year she kept collapsing in the street and was suffering from low blood-pressure and hypoglycemia.

Heather (HeatherKY) is from Kentucky. In 2002, she developed a case of Bell's Palsy and was put on prednisone. In December 2008, after many years of feeling hopeless and alone, she was diagnosed with cyclical Cushing's Disease caused by a pituitary tumor. Stephanie (steph) is from Wimberley, Texas. About 2 and a half to 3 years ago, she was being treated for a condition called Reflex Sympathetic dystrophy. Barbara (2maro) is from Houston, Texas. She ended up at at MD Anderson with Dr. McCutcheon who removed the pituitary tumor transphenoidally. Miraculously, over the next 9 months, she lost 100 pounds. She is no longer diabetic and did not have high blood pressure until 2008.
