Tiffiny D (Tiffiny 3) is from Thatcher, Utah. Tiffiny was diagnosed with pituitary Cushing's this fall and will have surgery on December 9, 2014.

Helena (hummerbird) is not yet diagnosed with Cushing's but she is weaning off Prednisone. She has Fibromyalgia and SLE (Systemic lupus erythematosus).

Andrea (AndreaM) is from Charlotte, North Carolina. Andrea suffered from Cushing's when she was 9 years old. She had pituitary surgery, bilateral adrenalectomy (back in 1988 when it was not laparoscopic), then 2 more pituitary surgeries as her tumor grew and regrew too close to the optic nerve. Her last pituitary surgery was followed by Gamma Knife Radiation when she was 19.

Don S (Don S) is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is not yet diagnosed but knows about cortisol and its effect on the body because his mother passed away from Cushings at 46 after years of taking steroids for respiratory problems.

Kelly (Kelly Jo) is from Irving, Texas. She had probably already had Cushings for 10 years but her past doctor never once really heard her complaints and just told her she was fat and how easy it is to lose weight. She has had two pituitary surgeries and Gamma Knife Radiation.

Dennis O (denniso) is from Australia. His doctors have decided that they could not operate due to his poor health and the fact that they could not find the tumour. As a temporary measure he is taking ketoconozole to control his cortisol levels.

Lil (luckylil) is from San Bernardino, California. Lil's niece has had Cushing's for 8 years prior to diagnosis. She had her one tumor ridden adrenal gland removed 3 months ago. The remaining adrenal gland had shrunk and is non-functioning.

Mary H (Marietta) is from Chicago, Illinois. She was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease in 1976. After her pituitary surgery was ineffective, she had bilateral adrenalectomy.

Raveh I is from Israel. She had symptoms of Cushing's for at least 5 years before being diagnosed with a had a 5 cm tumor on her left adrenal which was removed.

Dawn M (Lind8588) is from Elgin, Illinois. She suffered from severe asthma and environmental allergies since she was a young child. They used steroids as a way to help me breathe and stop hives.

In Memory June 23, 2014: Kate Myers 1968-2014
Kate had Cushing's symptoms since 1991. She had two pituitary surgeries and another recurrence followed by a BLA and radiation. She has appeared on National Geographic TV in the Science of Obesity.

Tina H (TinaHardenMississippi) is from Fulton, Mississippi. Tina was diagnosed with Cushing's in September 2013, had an IPSS in April 2014 and surgery to removed her pituitary tumor June 13, 2014.

Diana passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. She was a long-time Cushie who'd had a BLA at the NIH in 2002.

Denise (Jeff's Mom) is from Sayreville, New Jersey. Her son is almost 16 years old and so sick he hardly gets out of bed anymore. Doctors do not not give her any other ideas of what is wrong with him only that he needs to lose weight and exercise more.

Kathy C is from Mt. Shasta, California. In 1995, she was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor. At the time the only symptom she was aware of was a severe headache. She had a transsphenoidal resection followed by radiation therapy for 23 days. At the time they said they could not remove all of the tumor. Michelle (Michelle) is from Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. Her youngest son has been steadily gaining weight, has a large round face with red checks and large torso. They have been to 3 endocrinologists so far and have not been given a diagnosis of Cushing's. Michelle's sister has cyclical Cushing's.
