Renata (Marisa) is from St. Augustine, Florida. After years of symptoms, a 3.8cm tumor was found on her left adrenal gland. Her endo said that she did not fit in to the category of Cushing's or Addison's, or a Pheo. He told her that the tumor seemed to just be a lump and did nothing. UPDATE: Renata now has a surgeon.

She has Nelsons Syndrome and Addison's after having both adrenals removed. They want to give her radiation and she's looking for suggestions.

A recent MRI shows a pituitary tumor and she is consultation with a neurosurgeon at the University of Michigan who only does pituitary operations (2000+).

Kim (Kim K) is from Olathe, Kansas. Her story started about 7 years ago. A resident did a CT scan and saw that her left adrenal was enlarged 4 years ago but didn't report it. 2 years ago she was diagnosed with severe heart disease. Kim has 2 stents and ended up in January with Congestive Heart Failure. A recent CT scan shows that her left adrenal gland is nodular and she is trying to find a new endo.

She went to the Mayo clinic last fall and was seen by one Endocrinologist who was sure she had Cushing's. He felt that since my cortisol levels were not high enough that she may have Cyclical Cushing's. She will retest in August to see if her pituitary tumor has grown.

Katie had a number of diagnoses - panic disorder, major depression, bipolar disorder, hypothalamic amenorrhea, female hypogonadism, and pituitary adenoma. Her abnormal hormones are low FSH, LH, estradiol, insulin, and free T4. Imaging found a 2 mm. adenoma on her right pituitary and an 11 mm. pineal cyst.
