And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
I have had a 25 year history with a prolactinoma that just won't leave me alone. I had it removed when i was 21 and it quickly grew back.
Iwanted to have children. I never once got pregnant. I have thought for years the tumour was causing Cushings, but the endocrinologists would always say no, none ever tested me.
I have hirsutism, high blood pressure, moon face, large belly acne, extreme moods including depressions and anxiety, extreme fatigue, and recently found to have diabetes, the list goes on. My last ACTH was 42.
My new endo has finally agreed to run the tests for cushings. I did the suppression test and the 24 urine is Sunday. He says the tumour will have to come out if it is cushings.
