And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
Hi
I am glad I found this site! I have congenital hypothyroidism. I was lucky that
I was diagnosed very early in my childhood (around 4 years old) so I am a normal
height. I lack all the hormones that a "normal" or "healthy" person would have,
so I take pills and growth hormone injections every night.
I would be thrilled if anyone would respond to this with similar stories. I am asking myself the question "why me?" which I'm sure I am not alone in feeling. I'm trying to find some people who can sympathize! I know I actually have it quite easy but I still struggle with accepting this.
I am now 24 years old and leading a very good life otherwise. I am training to be a teacher here in Canada, land of hockey, maple syrup and strong beer!
