And It's About Time There Was Some Support For Cushing's!
I was first diagnosed with cushing's in 1994 had my first operation in 1995 to remove a microadenoma. I was told I was cured and lost 23 kilo's in a few weeks after operation felt good could even go back to work after a while.
Ten years later started to feel strange again asked to be retested found that the tumour had regrown.
In 2005 had second operation with no success. In 2005 had stereotactic radiation on pit gland, still no success.
October 2007 had my whole pit gland removed, waiting for blood test results to see the out come, will up date when results are through but doctor isn't very optermistic about outcome. Has alrerady put me on the waiting list to have both my adrenel glands out.
